Womens & Ladies Ballroom Dance Shoes

Almost all dancers have at some point endured serious pain for the love of their craft, particularly professionals. At Burju Shoes we don’t believe that something beautiful cannot also be comfortable. As such, we carry a wide range of designs, styles, and fits that ensure that regardless of how you dance there is something here that will suit you. What’s more, if you believe that with a little change here or there to the shoe you have your eye on would make it absolutely perfect for your particular feet, then that is entirely possible also.

Our founder, Burju Perez, was a professional and competitive dancer and choreographer, and so with her brilliant insights into the mental and physical requirements that dancers need from their shoes we have come up with a range of ladies ballroom dance shoes that have been designed and crafted by industry-leading specialists. The ultimate goal is to provide our customers with the best ballroom dance shoes that are comfortable first and foremost but are also functional and stylish.

Womens Ballroom Shoe Basics

When it comes to ballroom dancing it goes without saying that there is a definite need to break those shoes in before you hit the floor for the first time. As such, there are a few useful tips that might spare you some of the pain and ensure that when you step out to wow the judges, crowd and drop the jaws of your fellow contestants, your shoes won’t hamper you.

The first thing you should do once you get your new women's ballroom shoes home is to put on a sock, preferably a light one, which will help stretch them while also sparing you any pain. You will also want to make the shoe a little more flexible, so it is recommended that while you are not wearing them you roll the front part of it both up and down. The bending motion will help work out any rigidness that exists.

And, of course, if you would like to stretch or expand your shoes a little, simply wet the underside of the straps, then get a cylindrically shaped object that will fit comfortably inside the shoes and leave it to dry overnight. If the result is not as you desired then repeat the process.

The Best Ballrooms Shoes For Women To Dance In

When it comes to ballroom shoes, women’s experiences are the same across the world, so we always recommend that when you go to a competition you have a spare pair with you that are broken in and ready to substitute in if your number one choice suddenly lets you down.

The best way to safeguard against a competition disaster is, of course, to invest in a good pair of ballroom dance shoes. Quality always shines through and here at Burju Shoes, we have put in a lot of time testing and innovating and adjusting our selection until we came up with the most flexible, premium quality products available online.

So, don’t suffer needlessly with your current shoes. The style is the easy part when it comes to ladies ballroom shoes but comfort elevates your dancing and allows you to shine. At Burju Shoes, we are here to make sure that every dancer and judge and audience member is in awe of how effortless you make it all look.
