run small compared to other Burju

This is my first pair of Burju booties, but I have other pair of heels that I’m really happy with (the Burju Vaneno, for example.) I ordered these custom with a 3 inch flared heel, and I’m not as happy. They seem to run very small in the heel cup by comparison. Also, the tongue does not go all the way across side to side. There is a slight gap, which, when I rewatch the video, I noticed now that the shoes have arrived, and cannot be returned because they are custom. They also arrived in the Burju bag, but then just in bubble wrap, and a plastic mailer. Considering I paid extra to have these custom made, no extra consideration was given to ensure they weren’t damaged during shipping.

The toe box in this style is designed to hold our feet from going down and provide additional support to our toes. However, this has to be considered when sizing because it's not adjustable. Therefore, if we have thin or wide feet, we need to size down or size up to get a snug comfy fit. With these said, they seemed to run small and had allowed that gap in the tongue for you.

However, we've noted that there was no additional charge when you ordered your custom shoes. And if there was any damage, no worries, we have an amazing product warranty.
